Defend the villagers in this tactical roguelike inspired by "Into the Breach". Use your three peasants to push and attack enemies and see how far you can get!
Made in a week for #7drl 2021.
Instructions
- Each turn, each of your three party members can move and attack
- Click/Tap on a party member to activate them. Click/Tap again to move them, or trigger an action via the menu buttons on the right
- After each turn, the map slides down one square.
- Once villagers slide off the top, they are safe
- Any of your party members that slide off the top are lost
- Enemies will telegraph their attacks so you can prevent them from hurting your party members or the villagers
- The special powers require rescues to activate
- See how far you can go!

Really innovative spin on the general premise! Map scrolling was pretty unexpected and fun to play with. Also nice to have the game have deterministic basic mechanics so that "undo"-ing repeatedly, although I ended up abusing it to "check" what was off the bottom of the screen sometimes before I figured out how that all worked.
